This service is a brand of 7Tel Limited. This organisation has made heavy investments 1M+ in the switches and interconnect routing products that it now owns. These provide a CPS (Carrier Pre-Selection) option that allow us to pre-select the optimum carrier, based upon availability, quality and price to different destinations across the globe.
Our strength and focus is to provide choice for people who make International telephone calls. To that end, we work with several Telecoms carriers, mainly ex state-owned industries, who own the cabling, satellite infrastructure for the delivery of the voice communications.
So how do I get started then?
Simply register yor details, enter the 00 International umber that you normally dial and we will exchange it for a UK number. All calls made to that number will be charged at the confirmed rate.
How much will the calls cost?
Each destination has an assigned price depending upon the volume of voice telephone calls (traffic) that the destination generates. We are cognisant of the fact that many telecoms companies provide often confusing tariffs that lead to the customer making the call at the wrong time and paying a premium for it.
To this end, our policy is to provide a fair, easy to understand price tariff, which usually means a flat 24/7 rate for day, evening, and weekend calls
How do your prices compare with my current telecoms provider?
This service is exclusively focused upon International calls. For that reason you will find that we can probably offer you a better, more focused service than your current provider. In addition, there will be substantial cost savings too!
Depending upon the country dialled, in most cases we can offer savings of an astonishing 90% on your current provider International charges.
When do the call charges take effect?
Unlike access number dial up where you pay from the second you connect to the access number. Cheapercallrate offers a quality direct dial connection, this means that you only pay for the call when and if the call is answered.
Can I use your services and retain my current telecom provider
Yes of course, we just provide you with a direct dial International number in exchange for your old International one. This does not affect your current provider in any way, just register with us and use your new number as you normally would to dial your friend, family or business as if they were living locally to you.
How do I get invoiced then?
The costs of the call just appears on your carrier bill as normal. If requested this will be itemised and clearly displayed in an easy to understand format. All our calls are charged on a per second billing so even if you are over the minute by a few seconds you will only pay for the time that you were connected.
How does it work?
Using our technology, there is no real difference between using our facility to dial friends, family or businesses that reside locally and making an International call to the other side of the world.
How can you do it so cheaply?
We utilise a bespoke software programme that we have called 'best cost routing'. This monitors call volume to all destinations and provides us with alternative options to maximise the best quality route for your call to take. This can even be done whilst the call is in place, without any interference on the line, maintaining a crackle free, optimum quality call.
Do I need a BT telephone line?
Your allocated number will work on any landline and from all mobiles. Our system is currently designed to work with all BT approved lines.
How many numbers can I register?
At present , our research tells us that 6 numbers are about the maximum amount that would be required per person. This will be monitored and changed accordingly in conjunction with customer needs and requirements.
Is there a minimum monthly call spend?
There is no minimum monthly call spend with This service. Our mission is simply to provide you with the best, cheapest call rate solution.
Is there an access number to dial?
This service is a direct dial service, connecting you straight to the overseas number that you have dialled. There are no access numbers for you to dial because there is simply no International Number for you to dial. We do all the 'back office' work for you, our technology makes the switches happen and gives you the best routing possible for each and every connection.

What is the catch?
As unbelievable as it sounds there is no catch at all. We simply exchange the International number that you usually dial for a UK one. We charge a flat rate 2p per minute at anytime day or night, for the most popular destinations. You do not have to worry about the timing of the call; e.g. before 8am or after 6pm on any of those confusing tariffs.
